Simon Neale, better known as Dave Spoon, is a radio DJ and dance music producer. He was part of the line up on BBC Radio 1’s ‘In New DJs We Trust’ feature which runs Thursday night/Friday morning 2am to 4am. The DJ has become notable for his hits, “Bad Girl (At Night)” with Lisa Maffia and “Baditude” with Sam Obernik. He grew up listening to a mixture of synth-pop, early 90’s House & Rave, and attended a secondary school that had an undiscovered TB-303 and Juno 60 in the music room cupboard.

Dave’s latest venture has been setting up his own label “Televizion” where he has released the collaboration with Pete Tong, “Gas Face” which was used as title music for the Hammer Horror film “Beyond The Rave”. Recent remixes of Madonna with Pete Tong, Beyonce, Calvin Harris & The Ting Tings keep things moving since his completed ‘In New DJs We Trust’ residency.
