On Tuesday night The Guvernment was the fullest I’ve ever seen the venue, in anticipation of LCD Soundsystem’s headlining performance. The band was preceded by opener and DFA Records label mate Holy Ghost! who, despite my great anticipation, were a bit of a let down in terms of absolute energy, and relative energy (but who can blame them for that, next to LCD Soundystem?!?!) That said, I still think them quite talented musicians, live and recorded – the show was merely poorly executed. You can see a high def clip below.

LCD Soundsystem absolutely thrilled the audience with their performance. Their show was polished, extremely visually pleasing, and they played absolutely everything I could have wanted to hear.
