Having run into Pat Lok’s work earlier this year by virtue of his close association with Gold Fields one of my favourite bands, I was introduced to a new type of sound that I couldn’t quite my finger on. Upon playing Pat Lok’s latest remix I was greeted with a mixture of indie and synth pop influences alongside copious amounts of disco-esque funk to create a carefree summer tune perfect for relaxation. Bright, uplifting, with bubbly, mellow vibes this remix is sure to leave anybody in the brightest of moods after a listen.
