I’m a little late to the party but Toronto, by way of Montreal, based brotherly duo Love Thy Brother’s latest work – a remix of rising Indie Pop/R&B star Kiiara’s ‘Feels’ is probably one of the best things I’ve heard all month. Interesting anecdote about Kiiara – she actually works at a hardware store by day but judging from her previous releases it’s only matter of time before ‘that music thing’ is a full-time gig. Anyway, Love Thy Brother’s dark deep-house sound combines perfectly with Kiiara’s vocals to create a potent, high-energy dance floor track that “Feels” like a punch to the guts and is tailor-made for those dirty latenight after-party sets.
