Footwork pioneer DJ Rashad has sadly passed away. Rashad recently released his groundbreaking album, Double Cup, on Hyperdub records and has an EP scheduled for release next month. Born Rashad Harden, he helped develop the Chicago sound known as Footwork. Our thoughts go out to his family, friends and everyone in Teklife. Below are some of my favorite tracks by this pioneer.
