Never saw this one coming! Dubstep guru Borgore teaming up with trap’s DJ Carnage? I had no idea what I was in for. And the result is surprising. The dubstep/trap collaboration has turned out a grimy House banger, with obvious influences from both of the producer’s normal fields of expertise; Borgore’s distorted triplets are distinguishable from the Trapstyle offbeats and snapping synths Carnage brings to the table. That said, it’s still a far cry from what you’d hear from either artist on their own, which is why I love collaborations like this. Borgore and Carnage kept it pretty simple, and believe me, you’re going to be hearing this in every major DJ’s set for the next 6 months; artists like Tiësto, Sandro Silva, Avicii, A-Trak, Porter Robinson, and many more have already thrown their support behind the track.
