Day two of EDC Las Vegas 2012 was a night of highs and lows for most people. Early performances by Chris Lake, Manufactured Superstars, Visionquest, Sander Van Doorn, and Nicky Romero were big hits as the previous night’s sweltering temperatures were beat back by a cool desert breeze.

As the night’s headliners began to take the stage the wind began to pick up, though during Borgore and Feed Me’s sets it wasn’t yet a nuisance.

But as Calvin Harris and Rusko played, live installations, especially those shooting fire, began to switch off and dismantle. The night culminated, to the great disappointment of the hundred thousand (or so) festival goers, with all stages being powered down at around fifteen minutes before 1am due high winds, around 15 minutes in to Zeds Dead’s set.
