I haven’t been able to stop listening to trap shit (and anything that sounds like it) since I got back from SXSW. There’s something about it down South that works so well with dance music. Almost every set I listened to over the course of that week included some, and I must say it really opened my mind – the way that people get down to it in clubs alongside really highly curated house music impressed me a great deal. I’ve always been a fervent backpacker, but I can really sink my teeth in to some of this stuff (as long as I’m selective).

And this is one of those fine selections.
