I’ll keep the gossip short because we aren’t a tabloid, and I don’t want to let the sideshow overshadow this awesome track by Cedric Gervais, but..

Last week in Miami, while on stage to introduce Avicii’s set, Madonna asked the audience “have you seen Molly?” to which Deadmau5 replied rather harshly. He’s been outspoken about drug use before, and I feel a bit naked in saying this, but good on him. This industry has absolutely no one willing to step out and advocate for artists being more responsible in their messaging.

Although, yes, there are better and kinder ways of going about it.

ANYWAY.

I can’t wait to play this track in my sets this week. It’s got the electro familiarity that everyone will love, and incorporates an acid bass line suppressed by filtering. Normally acid doesn’t go over well in my sets – it can sound cheesy, and is often too harsh for casual dance music listeners. But in this case I think with the sound design that has gone in to the main synth and the incredible festival/arena-sized drums, that this is going to be a BIG hit.

If you want the full quality version you’ll be able to snap it up on Spinnin Recs next Monday, April 9th, 2012.
