With close friends like John Roman and Gingy getting love from around the world I have come to look upon Golden Gloves as the underdog. Simply because no one is giving them the looks they deserve. While other Toronto blogs know whats up, the world has yet to give them their due. Last year their remix of Major Lazer made wobble bass more commercial and now with some awesome Klezmer influences they are set to take the House scene by storm. These two original tracks go to show that they’ve become so much more than the college town crowd pleasers and remix artists they started off as. The development of a unique sound is what pushes certain artists to the forefront of their craft, with songs like The Mensch and Que Lo Que, Golden Gloves might just have found something to call their own.
DJs drop these in the club and give us some feedback!
