Chi town native Vic Mensa, had a huge response to Down on My Luck. Deviating from hip-hop infused vibes, to UK-Garage/House vibes earned him much acclaim across the inter-webs. Enough so that it came across the hands and skills of Zed Bias. The track features samples from the original but rather than modifying and building off the typical garage vibes, as done by many, Bias incorporates a fatty bass line with simple snares and chords.
