AutoErotique will have a new EP ‘EKG’ coming out on June 12th, and in anticipation, a remix of their single ‘Roll the Drums’ by Clockwork has been published.

His penchant for call and response style electro is evident, as usual, in his impressive synth and bass sound design, both of which pay tribute to the original. But his musicality and knack for the “flip” really comes through in the delightful arp that this remix has been accented by, which feels at once wholly comprised by samples from the original, and yet completely new. It’s Clockwork’s attention to details like this, and the many percussion arrangement edits, which make his ‘Roll the Drums’ remix a showcase for the raw creativity he posses as well as his heightening prowess as a producer. This is without a doubt his finest remix work to-date.
