“I’m Not” by Lena Leon is a gem. The record has dance sensibilities perfect for the club and is a pop bop. Lena’s cadence and tone really sets her apart from other singers and artists in her space so we’re really grateful to have stumbled upon it. “Everyone who’s been through a breakup and gone through a denial stage can relate to “I’m Not.” Sometimes it’s easier to bury emotions and pretend like the person they loved never existed in order to start the process of moving on. It’s crazy that this happens to so many people, and there are so few songs that really address it, so I felt like it was important to do it justice and draw from my own life experiences.”
