As the final release in the first of their free compilation series ‘Free Spirits Vol 1.’ Spirited, a Los Angeles based Label, has done a magnificent job curating a compilation that really fits the theme of musical freedom. Within the compilation’s tracks there’s a common element of freedom in musical expression within each track and none moreso than in this final release. Combining his usual future bass sound with an R&B track sees him ‘honestly’ take R.LUM.R’s vocals to soaring new heights with a pseudo-minimalist production touch (for StéLouse at least!) while the roaring guitar solo at the ends reminds us all of his usual production flair. I can’t wait to see what other releases Spirited have in store for us because they’ve more or less knocked it out of the park in their first at bat!
