I’m absolutely obsessed with this new EP from the up and coming Atlanta based artist, Kodiak Soul. Taking elements of hip hop and electronic elements, this dude meshes disparate sounds into a wondrous downtempo atmosphere on “The Lives We Choose”. Inspirations from artists such as Clams Casino, Emancipator and Shlohmo definitely show, as this projects chill vibe is unmistakable. If you’re looking for a low-key afternoon, definitely pop on this tape ASAP.
