Jeff Karp aka Budo has just released a mind-fuck of a beautiful tune. Drawing inspiration from such labels as Brainfeeder, the track also shares a similar beauty to popular underground producers such as Cashmere Cat, etc. The track features emotionally charged trumpet layering which really makes for a one-of-a-kind vibe. Karp writes. “It is a shout to the heavens, a statement of purpose, and a thing of odd beauty. ‘Jeff’ is a song that celebrates a new direction, a new beginning, and a new way forward.”

Enjoy this tasty treat of an experimental tune. The man has worked closely with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis in the recent past – it’s always good to see a less commercial side to some of the artists producing music that we hear on the radio these days.
