In the words of Josh Tobias himself Beachside Lover is “about that endless summer weekend where you fall in love with the night and forget about your broken heart… at least until the rum wears off. It’s about the energy of the vibe, the rhythm of the beat and the inner freak inside all of us.” Funky fresh, and groovy as can be this is about as close to Chromeo as I’ve heard in a long time.
