When I saw TOKiMONSTA open for Amon Tobin at Decibel Festival in 2010, I was an immediate fan, through and through. So, the other day, I was just scrolling through TOKiMONSTA’s SoundCloud wondering when I was going to hear her next release. Twenty-four hours later, she released her remix of 2 On by Tinashe, currently one of my leading lady vocalists, and Schoolboy Q. Her take on 2 On is nothing short of fantastic as she displays her ever-growing production skills and knack for embellishing simple melodies into a well-rounded song.
