How does he always deliver? Hours ago, Phonat posted a preview of his most recent EP slated for release Feb. 18th on OWSLA. The preview includes two originals, Never, and Phase to Face. Along with a remix a remix of the former by Asa and another by Icarus. The preview is absolutely delightful. In the span of his two originals, Phonat shows so many sides of his production ability, with soulful downtempo in Never, and an older underground glitch hop sound in Phase to Face, reminiscent of his Identity Theft EP. Then the remixes are just icing on the cake, and I can’t wait to gush about these tracks again when they are officially released.
