It’s always a good feeling supporting the local Toronto scene, and it’s guys like this who make it such an easy sell. A fitting title for the EP, Dr. Ozi have no doubt been on the rise in 2013 as they continue to perfect their particularly gritty brand of bass.
Showcasing a handful of fast paced originals, The Rise is highlighted by my pick of the bunch, Blood And Fire, built around the alluring vocals of Nikki Jumper. If you’re looking for a comparison… think deeper, darker Adventure Club.
