The pool parties in Vegas are a highlight of the summer — even more so during EDC Las Vegas, because of the obvious concentration of musical talent in the city this weekend.

With so many to choose from, we decided that you’d all benefit from a list of our favourite pool parties happening this weekend during Electric Daisy Carnival 2012.

Friday June 8

Our top pick: Bag Raiders + Classixx @ Hard Rock Pool

This is a no cover event which you are required to RSVP for, and WILL reach capacity. RSVP here.

Time: 11am – 8pm

On Friday, the first day of EDC, there are a ton of great pool parties to choose from, but to be honest, none are as exciting or unique as the Bag Raiders + Classixx pool party at the Hard Rock Pool. The event is hosted by several partners, including our friends over at GDD. Arrive early and arrive often, or you WILL be disappointed.

Above and Beyond + Mat Zo @ Marquee Day Club

Calvin Harris @ Encore Beach Club

No more pre-sale tickets are available, but the event notes that there will be some available at the door.

Saturday June 9

Our top pick: Roger Sanchez @ Palms Pool

Tickets available here (gents: $45, gals $22.5)

Time: noon – 6pm

Trust me on this one, of all the people playing Saturday pool parties, Roger Sanchez is my go to. The guy has rocked more pool parties than you’ll go to in your life time, and the vibe will be laid-back and unpretentious.

Dirty South & Tommy Trash @ Marquee Dayclub

Time: 10am – 6pm

Steve Angello, Max Vangeli, Junior Sanchez @ Encore Beach

Tickets: Online pre-sales for this event have sold out, but tickets are still available at the door.

Sunday June 10

Our top pick: Markus Schulz & Ferry Corsten B2b @ Tao Beach

Time: 10am – night

A shame that these parties delineate ticket type by gender, and more so that gents tickets are sold-out. Like the other pool parties which have sold-out pre-sales, there will be tickets available at the door, but do arrive early… as if that’s going to be possible on Sunday.

Tiesto @ Encore Beach

Pre-sale tickets are sold out, but there will be some available at the door. Arrive early.

Avicii and Gareth Emery @ Marquee Dayclub

Predictably, tickets are sold out for this also, but “cover is payable at the door on the day of the event.”
