Wolfgang Gartner can be considered a veteran of the EDM scene. He’s had 8 #1 Beatport hits, a Grammy nomination, and has collaborated with the likes of Deadmau5, which in my mind makes him a big deal. He has a new single entitled There and Back, available now on Beatport, and the preview he’s provided on his Soundcloud is nothing short of amazing.

The sample given is mostly of a MASSIVE chord progression; with layers upon layers of synths running in perfect harmony. Listen closely to all the components: the echos, the swells, the falls, the depth of the sound, and the sound-staging, and you’ll be blown away. The pure quality of the production is something to marvel at; a welcome reminder that there are still true professionals in the business.
