Alright, so I haven’t had this much fun writing a Tuesday Top Ten in a while. Suffice it to say, I’ve found a format that you guys find interesting and entertaining, and one that is fun for me to do. I’m going to continue with the best 10 up and coming types, but I think I’ll do them bi-weekly, or maybe even monthly.. I will experiment a bit, and hopefully get some feedback from you all.

A lot of these tracks are old favourites that were on high rotation when I was getting my first really big gigs out, so digging them out for this list was exciting. When I listen to most music I have what you might call flashbacks – I feel as though I am experiencing the same feelings, or perhaps outlook, that I felt at the time in my life when I heard the song for the first time / when it was on high rotation. These tracks remind me of the adrenaline rush I got from turning the bass knobs for the first time, the mashups and mixes I made in my bedroom with DJ Saigo, and the parties that The Monarch and I threw on College St. with our friends where we would steal all the smokers from the DLYF party next door when they went outside for a cig.
