Major Lazer has shaken up music his year with rumbling bass and a dancehall influenced vibe that makes booties shake, this collaboration between Diplo and Switch is one of the best things to happen to dance music this year. Mansion recently did a remix of Pon Di Floor that got The Social moving last Saturday. Hard hitting and wig splitting, it features a breakdown into Dawn Penn’s “You Don’t Love Me”. Violca, from Mansion, has been dropping dancehall to close out a few nights over the course of the summer one of the reason she quickly became one of my favorite closing DJs this summer!
