Mmmmmm. This song takes me to another place… The live drums samples evoke images of a dark alley’s jazz club in the windy streets of Chicago, and the syncopation reinforces that with hits so strong, you might even get high. Phazz is notorious for his jazz influences, and this one really packs a classic feel, often forgotten in the rise of modern rock and electronic music. Though it’s short, you have to milk it for everything it’s worth.

For those of you who may know Phazz, you know this isn’t new. But I just rediscovered it, and I wish I’d written it up before!
