In true testament to just how close the Internet brings us all together, I want to take some time today to Introduce one of my favourite emerging European producers: Helsinki-based 19 year-old producer, Elaksi. Despite living closer to the Arctic Circle than even a Canadian such as myself is comfortable with, Elaksi produces brilliant hip-hop instrumentals that combine The Field-esque synth progression with percussion most akin to the best that LA’s many beat cyphers have to offer.
