Backstroke., a new producer from Washington, DC, first drew attention a couple months ago with his remix of Young Summer’s Waves That Rolled You Under. His latest – a mix of Tegan and Sara’s Closer – is of the same high caliber. The rework picks up the pace from the original, making it a far more versatile alternative. The vocals blend perfectly, and overall the track is very well-produced. Backstroke. has had an incredibly strong start, and I’d make sure to keep an eye on what’s to come.
