For the last year I’ve been saying “I don’t even know what deep house means any more”. With all kinds of tunes being labeled as “deep” these days I have been reluctant to use the term myself – at least until today. So what’s changed? I tell you: La Décadance are back with a new EP, and the title track “Subway” combined with the stand out tune “Flashing lights” are as deep as it gets. The release is different from the duo’s previous records as it is a pure house EP. Very DJ friendly with long intros and outros and hardly any vocals present. It shows a different side of an already promising project, and my advice to you is that you give it a spin.
