Just in the past year, Halifax’s hip-hop honcho has gon’ in on tracks by Frank Ocean, Grimes, Mikky Ekko, Craig David and most recently, Cat Power. Today Hemsworth dropped yet another fresh remix, this time around it’s Rhye’s chilled-out R&B tune “Open” receiving the royal treatment. Once again, Hemsworth works his magic, engineering minimal drum patterns to carry the original’s soft breathy coos into moody, spaced-out oblivion.
