As LA’s The Bad Dreamers ready their debut albumĀ Songs About People Including Myself, they continue to trickle out new tunes as an appetizer. The latest offering is “Reach You” – a riveting, emotional synth-ballad that we certainly can all relate to. Vocalist David Schuler – the Grammy-nominated and accomplished producer/songwriter/filmmaker – hit the nail on the head with his delivery in this one. His soaring falsetto gives us a true sense of his ability – sparing no expense and leaving no stone unturned.
Schuler says on the track, “‘Reach You’ is a song about struggling to communicate with someone close. I’ve had the production laying around for nearly a year or so and there are maybe 6 versions of the song that nobody will ever hear. This was maybe the most difficult song on the record to produce, for a number of reasons, but mainly due to the tempo and the overall vibe I was trying to create.”
Keep an eye out for The Bad Dreamers’ new albumĀ on October 25th. Until then, stream “Reach You” below.
