ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective is a wonderful outlet for up-and-coming electronic artists to flourish and get the recognition they deserve. This time, they feature 19-year-old Carl Garsbo, better known as Kasbo. The Swedish producer’s latest release has a light and transcendent feel, yet packs so much depth with each beat – and being someone who’s tired of the standard 4/4 beat of today, it’s really refreshing to hear a sound that deviates away from that. The different mix of genres/styles into this track goes to show that Kasbo’s not held down to one particular style or sound, but rather goes by his own flow. I can’t wait to hear what else he has in store for us!
