Michael Brun may very well be best known for his festival-centric progressive house but his collaboration with Roy English actually sees him take his music in a new direction. Fortunately for us ‘Tongue Tied July’ retains many of the classic elements of a Michael Brun production with beautiful melodies with just the hint of tropical instrumentation to hop on that bandwagon at just the perfect time. It’s also nice to see Roy English contribute his vocals and song-writing to this track, after hearing Alesso’s ‘Cool’ (and its 5000 remixes) I’m convinced that Roy can do no wrong and he has yet to prove me wrong! For the amount of success the two of them have had, both Michael and Roy are still relatively new so expect even more big things from the future!
