Every time I listen to a Thero track I expect that bright, upbeat, tropical house sound I’ve come to expect from him, so his latest remix was definitely a pleasant surprise for me as he opted to go in a different direction. His remix of Goldroom’s ‘Till Sunrise’ is chock full of funky instrumental effects that really play up the relaxing beach vibe without having to rely on the traditional tropical house instrumentals. Whether it’s the squawking seagulls or the sounds of the crashing waves, the background instrumentals all interplay with the drum kicks and guitar rifts beautifully to create a track that’s more indie dance than tropical house, but a beautiful night-time beach relaxation track nonetheless.
