Viva La Vida has been one of Coldplay’s signature tracks over the past a decade or so and has definitely been given its fair share of electronic music remixes. There’s just something about the melodies and instrumentals that make it perfect for electronic music and Deboer takes full advantage with a beautiful blend of rock and house music which only accentuate Chris Martin’s vocals. He then adds his own touch to the chorus sprinkling vibrant horse samples, a hint of snare drums in the breaks, and a drop straight out of a traditional progressive house track.
