When Wes James, better known as Le Youth, first dropped T O U C H I was hooked. From the Mary J. Blige samples to the upbeat dance-worthy piano lines there’s just something incredible about the way he can combine old school R&B with modern day House music to a soulful Disco House cut. While Flaxo has chosen to go in a different direction with his remix you gotta give the man props for the way he’s reimagined the track. While he toned down the instrumentals Flaxo opted for the new glitchy bass influences, old school hip hop style breaks, and over overall chill trap to make this remix read like an eclectic history of electronic music production.
