Here comes another track from my new favorite artist from Perth Australia, (sorry Tame Impala), Sable. Recently, Sable definitely has a knack for blending R&B with a cashmere esque electronic production, with his misspelled remix of Justin Timberlake’s My Love, featuring speed up vocals, glitch influences and classic house claps. Artists like Sable and Tennyson clearly understand the remix game–realizing that a true variation of song doesn’t simply involve another “drop” or more tuned down oscillators, but an actual honest to god variation to the original piece, expanding the songs staying value.
