In a move that shocked nobody following Australia’s burgeoning music scene, Adelaide producer Motez announced today that he’s joining the likes of Yolanda Be Cool, Parachute Youth, What So Not, and Indian summer at local label Sweat It Out.
“Motez, Motez,” you think to yourself, pacing back and forth, “why is that name so familiar?” Well, his release on OWSLA as an official remix of What So Not’s High You Are may have something to do with it. Or, maybe it’s his ARIA-charting releases? Regardless, this announcement makes me quite pleased indeed and signals great things for the music industry.
