Just yesterday, seemingly under the influence of the San Diego sun, Soulection collective producer ESTA dropped what he called “My first House beat.. w/ a lil extra”. Definitely not known for making house music, this bright track with a funky bassline makes you wonder what other gems he has in the works or stashed on the hard-drive. The “lil extra” part becomes clear near the end, when he reverts to his bread and butter and inserts a chilling downtempo switch-up, serving as the song’s outro. He recently eluded to a Disclosure Rework for one of his tracks that is “coming soon” – maybe we’ll start seeing house and ESTA in the same sentence more often!
