I was first introduced to the Chicago production group Starfoxxx during the rise of moombahton and I’ve been following along as their frontman, David Beltran, progressed through various production styles (and name changes). Their SoundCloud is gone, but the work remains on the playfully-named Boyhouse Limited Bandcamp, a vanity subsidiary of their ever-expanding label, FeelTrip Records. This mix is an excellent reflection of the sounds they’re pushing at the moment, and is one of the most creative combinations of styles I’ve heard in a long time that still manages to maintain consistent ambiance. It’s not an easy feat, believe me.
