Red Steel, the subsidiary of DnB label Samurai Music, has always focused on the experimental side of DnB. The labels latest release comes from Manchester resident Indigo. Indigo combines Jungle, Ambient, and Techno and the results are interesting. Volta and Storm are the highlights, both are layered with detail. The way Indigo builds tension in these tracks is impressive, especially on Spirit Of The Winds. Samurai Music will be a label I keep my eye on in 2014.
