Broken Bells is an indie rock duo formed last year, consisting of James Mercer and Brian Burton, better known as Danger Mouse. Mercer is a member of the band The Shins, Burton is a member of Gnarls Barkley and a well-respected producer for such artists as Beck, Gorillaz, MF Doom and The Black Keys.
