I always imagine myself in a penthouse with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a nocturnal urban landscape when I hear a Manila Killa remix. Take a refreshing, xylophone-powered revisit of Carmada’s “Realise” with this new Manila Killa do-over of the track. Like many of his remixes, Manila Killa cools down the original “Realise”, incorporating some future-influenced synths and a simple acoustic piano intro and exit. I’m pretty sure I heard a bird chirp or two as well, which brings to mind some tropical house sensations. Is “Future Tropical House” a thing now? If it is, Manila Killa is doing it pretty well.
