Hailing from Paris, France, Disco Metric’s undeniable talent really shines through in his latest production, Boston. This track is an incredibly beautiful merger of trap and French disco-house and despite my initial worries at such a mix, succeeds spectacularly. Hearing trap elements used in a way that isn’t trying to denote “gangster appeal” makes it seem all the more true to innovative music production; rather than using them to create what are essentially the rap+dubstep tracks that I’ve been so swamped with lately, they really harmonize with all the other elements of the song. Give it a listen and show this guy some support on Facebook. You won’t find too many tracks on his SoundCloud just yet, but it’s only a matter of time before this guy will be filling your iPods.
