On January 17, Swedish House Mafia returns with an exciting collection of remixes for their international smash single “Antidote.” Offering new interpretations of the track are Swedish House Mafia, Knife Party, and rising Australian producer Tommy Trash.
“Antidote” – a collaboration with Knife Party (side project of Pendulum’s Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen) – has been on fire since its initial release on December, 16, 2011. It quickly shot to #1 on the Beatport charts (and remained there throughout the holidays) and is currently in the top 15 on Billboard’s dance chart and #2 in the UK midweek charts. The breakthrough video for “Antidote” has been viewed over 3.5 million times and is in rotation at MTV, MTV HITS, mtvU and MTV Clubland.
2011 was a phenomenal year for the Swedes, in which they attained two #1 Billboard dance hits for “Save The World” and “Miami 2 Ibiza” feat. Tinie Tempah, a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording, headlined massive events at Madison Square Garden, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas and Miami Music Week and sold over 2 million singles worldwide.
With the return of Masquerade Motel Miami in March and a top slot on the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, 2012 is set to be Swedish House Mafia’s biggest yet.
