Australian electro-pop songwriter Kiyomi has burst onto the music landscape with her celestial debut single “High Ladder.” Its video is quite the visual experience as well, thanks to the creative mind of world renowned designer Charlie Le Mindu. It blurs the line between dreams and reality, making you unsure of whether or not you are awake or have drifted off into your subconscious. Fans of Sia, Lana Del Rey, and Ellie Goulding will surely get their kicks with this one.
Kiyomi says on the track, “I wrote High Ladder when chasing the dream was like chasing moonlight. It was a time of many closed doors and this song started to open them. The song turned into a transpacific collaboration bouncing between LA and Australia, developing layer by layer. High Ladder comes from my head and my heart and I hope it resonates with other dreamers.”
