I was doing my usual hungover sunday 10am mandatory soundcloud scan, and came across a black swatch of a cover for a track that caught me off guard. Thinking it wasn’t loading properly or something, I clicked through and everything was blank. It was in my feed reposted from some of the accounts I follow; Kill Them With Colour, Memorecks, Torro Torro, No Neon plus a few others and contained a haunting, driving remix of one of my favorite nu soul groups Basecamp, done by a name completely new to me. “Aiwake”. Upon clicking though more all I could find was the date 02/21/07, so have a listen below and check back then!
