There’s never really any harm in randomly hitting “Shuffle” while you’re listening to a mix online. A couple days ago, I did just that and stumbled across a cool little indie-pop gem by somebody called NÜME. Pronounced “New+M”, NÜME is a nineteen year old, Stockholm-based singer with this clear voice that is like the laid-back, ear-catching version of fellow Swede Tove Lo’s more anthemic voice. “Where Is She” is a song that will capture your attention because it’s a quietly sultry pop hit with smart lyrics that hits in all the right spots, up until the very last note.
