I’ve listened to Denver based Illenium put out track after track in silent admiration before I finally decided to step in and add my thoughts to his latest work. Kaskade’s latest single ‘Disarm You’ is an emotional ballad brought to life by singer Ilsey’s haunting vocals so I was curious to see how Illenium would approach such an emotionally charged single – and let’s just say I’m not the least bit disappointed. The result is the same powerful ballad with the kind of scintillating drops that’ll leave a chill on the back of your neck with the faster tempo you expect from a melodic bass release. Danceable, emotional, and best of all perfect for video gaming this is one track that you’ll have on repeat for quite some time.
