About a month ago I wondered aloud whether Lolaby & Cosmic Quest, California’s answer to Alina Baraz & Galimatias, would return for another collaboration and today they’re back again! Turning hands last month with their debut collaboration track ‘Synchronicity’, ‘Hidden Charm’ once again showcases Cosmic Quest’s brilliant future inspired production as well as Lolaby’s beautiful vocals. Cosmic Quest oscillates between the traditional and the future with both piano chords and an abundance of future effects while Lolaby channels her inner Norah Jones to give us a track that is both wonderfully mellow at times with just the perfect hint of groovy, jazzy delight.
