It’s always a pleasure to see two of my favourite producers working with each other. Whether its a collaboration, an official remix, or a bootleg – anything really, there’s nothing quite like the anticipation as you first listen to a remix one of your favourite songs by one of your favourite producers. Originally I dubbed Le Youth’s original one of the catchiest, most upbeat disco house songs to hit the blogosphere in months but Jack has seemingly taken the record in a whole different direction with his remix. His deft minimalist “touch” (ha) gives the track a much more laid back feel toning down some of the more vibrant house elements, but keeping it funky fresh and groovy as always – something we’ve come to expect with the jackLNDN name.
